This video walks through the entire story of Scripture — from creation, fall, and covenant, to the coming of Christ, His death and resurrection, and the hope of the new creation. Every word is drawn directly from the Bible, revealing the one true gospel of God’s grace.

Discover how the story of redemption unfolds from Genesis to Revelation. Learn how God’s promises to Abraham, Moses, David, and the prophets all find their fulfilment in Jesus Christ — the Son of God, the Lamb who takes away the sin of the world.

The Problem: Why We Need the Gospel

Every person who has ever lived has broken God’s law. We were made to know God, to love Him and to love others — yet we have all turned away. Romans 3:23 says plainly that “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” The consequence of sin is not merely moral failure — it is spiritual death and separation from God. We cannot fix this ourselves. No amount of religious effort, moral reform, or good intentions can bridge the gap sin has opened between us and a holy God.

This is why the gospel is such extraordinary news. It is not advice for improving ourselves. It is the announcement of what God has done to rescue people who could not rescue themselves.

The Solution: What God Has Done

God did not leave us in our sin. In love, He sent His Son. Jesus Christ — fully God and fully man — entered history to do what no human being could do. He lived without sin, perfectly fulfilling God’s law on our behalf. Then He willingly went to the cross, bearing the punishment that our sins deserved. He died as our substitute, absorbing God’s righteous wrath against sin so that we would not have to.

But the cross is not the end of the story. On the third day, God raised Jesus from the dead — vindicating Him as Lord and demonstrating that His atoning sacrifice was accepted. The resurrection is not a legend. It is the cornerstone of the Christian faith, witnessed by hundreds and proclaimed at the cost of lives.

The Response: Faith Alone

The gospel calls for a response — not works, not ritual, not self-improvement. The response is repentance and faith. To repent is to turn away from trusting in yourself and to turn toward God. To believe is to rest the full weight of your trust on Jesus Christ alone — on what He has done, not on what you can do.

Paul writes in Ephesians 2:8–9: “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith — and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God — not by works, so that no one can boast.”

This is the heart of the gospel. Salvation is entirely a gift. It cannot be earned, and it cannot be lost by those who belong to Christ. It is God’s work from beginning to end.

The Story Behind the Gospel

The video above traces the gospel through the whole of Scripture — showing that it is not a late invention but the thread running through everything God revealed from Genesis onwards. The promises made to Adam, to Abraham, to Moses and to David all pointed forward to Jesus. The sacrifices of the Old Testament pointed to the one final sacrifice He would make. The covenants God made with His people found their fulfilment in the new covenant sealed in His blood.

This is why we say the Bible has one storyline. It is the story of a God who creates, whose creation falls into sin, and who refuses to abandon it — sending His own Son to accomplish a rescue that nothing else could achieve.

If you have never understood this before, or if you have heard it many times but want to go deeper, this video is a good place to start.
